Summary: GeniusRN does not collect any personal health information or directly identifying personal information (such as your name or email). We collect a small amount of anonymous usage data and, if you subscribe, anonymous purchase data. 1. Who We Are

GeniusRN ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is a mobile reference application that helps newly graduated registered nurses with clinical assessments, pharmacology, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and EEG waveform recognition. The App is developed and published on Google Play by GeniusRN under the package identifier com.newgradcheatsheets.app. This Privacy Policy describes how GeniusRN handles information in the GeniusRN app and applies to all users of the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the limited categories of data listed below. We do not require you to create an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any patient information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above only for the specific purposes listed here:

To operate the App: we use anonymous app-open events to keep the reference content running and to understand overall usage trends in aggregate.
To provide subscriptions: we use purchase and subscription data to verify that your subscription is active, unlock the premium "Expected Findings" and "Physician Communication Tips" content, and let you restore purchases on a new device.
To maintain quality and security: we use limited technical data to diagnose bugs, prevent fraudulent or abusive transactions, and keep the service reliable.
To respond to you: if you email us, we use the contents of your message only to reply to your question.

We do NOT: sell or rent your information to anyone; use your information for advertising, ad targeting, or building marketing profiles; share your information with data brokers; or use any behavioral-tracking or analytics-for-advertising SDKs.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your data. We share the limited data above only with the service providers that make the App and its subscriptions work, and only for the purposes described:

Google Play Billing — processes your payment. Payment card details are handled entirely by Google; we never receive or store them. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of our users or the public.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Anonymous app-open events are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted. Purchase and subscription records are retained by RevenueCat and Google Play for as long as your subscription is active and as required for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes. Because we do not collect directly identifying information, we hold no personal profile about you. You may request deletion of any data associated with your anonymous purchase records by emailing us at the address below, and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Your Choices & Rights

Manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Stop anonymous usage collection by uninstalling the App.
Request access or deletion of data linked to your anonymous purchase records by contacting us at the email below.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights over your personal data. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

7. Data Security

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Our servers run in a secure cloud environment with access controls and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we handle.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adult healthcare professionals and nursing students aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App and data was collected, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Important: The content in GeniusRN is for general educational and reference purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The developers make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information in the App for any particular patient or clinical situation. Use of this App is at your own professional discretion and risk.

10. HIPAA Notice

GeniusRN is a reference and education tool only. It is not a clinical decision-support system and does not store, transmit, or process any patient data. The App does not create, receive, maintain, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, provide an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
